Duke’s St. Andrews moves up the Scottish Top 100

The Duke’s Improves Position in Scottish Top 100 Golf Course Rankings

The Duke’s St Andrews has improved its position in this year’s Scottish Top 100 Golf Course Rankings and in doing so has broken into the top 40 at number 37, up from 44.

Compiled by the website top100golfcourses.com, the Scottish version is the result of five year’s research. In assembling the list, the site used a unique blending process that took into account the course reviews posted by top100golfcourses.com visitors and all other Scottish golf course rankings published by various outlets.

In addition, the site’s Scottish correspondent Jim McCann played every single course in the top 100 list whilst Ernie Payne, who in 2006 became the first person in history to play every track in Scotland, acted as a consultant.

Whilst top100golfcourses.com does not claim to be the most definitive golf course rankings, it does pride itself in being the most informed in the business.
