Known for his headliners in the World Top 25, he is most famous for Augusta National, but his best golf course is Cypress Point. He partnered with Harry Colt in the UK and Robert Hunter in the USA. Many modern-day architects have redone his work and tried to emulate his work. Kingston Heath may be argued by some. Ganton is another golf course that owes much to the good Doctor. Lahinch was included as the club is attempting to restore his version of the course. Cal Club could well feature here and on Kyle Phillips' Ranking. Whatever you think, Alister MacKenzie is an all-time great when it comes to golf course architecture.
