Many of the holes at Thorndon Park Golf Club are surrounded by mature oaks, some of which are more than 500 years old.
Occupying a property around a mile from the southern shores of Lake Erie, the course at Westwood Country Club is a C.H. Alison design, one of only two Ohio courses to bear the architectural stamp of Harry Colt’s associate.
The Old course at Yeovil Golf Club is certainly different. C.H. Alison originally fashioned nine holes on Babylon Hill and Charles Carter (the club pro) laid out a further nine when new land became available later.
