During the late 1930s, the course at Riverside Country Club was extended to an 18-hole layout and remodelled by Walter B. Hatch, design associate of Donald Ross, and Ross is also said to have paid several visits during the reconstruction.

Established in 1900, Riverton Country Club engaged Donald Ross to expand and redesign their original 9-hole layout in 1917. A hundred years later, specialist restoration expert Ron Prichard was involved in returning the course to its Ross roots.
