The Montauk Downs State Park course lies at the tip of Long Island, 120 miles to the east of downtown New York city. Golf was played here for at least forty years before Robert Trent Jones Sr. and his son Rees redesigned the layout in 1968.

Robert Trent Jones Snr designed the North and West nines at Otter Creek in 1964 and they comprise the main 18-hole golf course at this 27-hole facility. Rees Jones added another circuit - the East nine - thirty years after his father’s fairways were first fashioned here.

13th Alabama - Best in Area

One of eleven RTJ Golf Trail facilities in Alabama, the 54-hole Oxmoor Valley complex occupies former U.S. Steel mining land, with the tree-lined Ridge course featuring some of the best par five holes on the Trail.
