The Montpellier Massane Resort course gets off to a rather inauspicious start with residential units situated on either side of the first six holes but it then opens out, allowing golfers to savour a more open, rural setting for the remainder of the round.

Ron Fream laid out 27 holes at Oulun and they opened for play in 1992. A further nine holes were added in 2005, creating the Sanki and Vaara 18-hole courses.
Set on the shore of Lake Oulu, Paltamo is a Ron Fream and David Dale of Golfplan layout. The par five 10th is Ron Fream’s favourite hole where the back tee is located out into the lake, connected by trail and bridge.
