The Addington Golf Club is a natural inland golfing paradise, with plenty of heather, pine, bracken and silver birch. Very little has changed since the club was founded in 1914.

Have been playing The Addington for 7 years and the last visit on 30th April was the best state I have ever found this course in.
My opinion of this course has change drastically as a result and its a very enjoyable course with stunning views of London.

The London borough of Croydon finds itself on some of the most elevated land across the capital, and The Addington finds itself sat firmly in an amongst it. If you're familiar with my reviews you will know that land movement and elevation change is my thing, and The Add has that in abundance....

I suspect that in a few years, it might well break into the top ten in Surrey which is saying something.
The Addington is in the fifth year of a multi-year year restoration project although restoration work actually began upon acquisition by its new owner in 2006. The course commenced in 1914 with J F Abercromby as the lead architect with a bit of assistance from Harry Colt. &nbs...
