Adriatic Golf Club Cervia was founded in 1984 when Marco Croze laid out a 9-hole course in the pines. This loop, now called the Red, was joined by Croze’s Blue course a year later. These two circuits form the premier 18-hole course at this popular 27-hole facility.

Adriatic Golf Club Cervia was founded in 1984 when Marco Croze laid out a 9-hole course in the pines. This loop, now called the Red, was joined by Croze’s Blue course a year later. These two circuits form the premier 18-hole course at this popular 27-hole facility. Architect Alvise Rossi Fioravanti with Baldovino Dassù added the Giallo 9-hole circuit in 2004.
The Rosso and Blu combination extends to just over 6,000 metres from the back tees, playing to a par of 72, with holes arranged as two returning nines. A pine forest runs along the left side of the closing five holes on the Rosso, with water coming into play at six of the holes on the Blu nine.
Highlights on the Rosso include the slightly right doglegging, long par four 2nd and the par three 8th where the green nestles in the trees. On the Blu circuit, the par five 4th turns 90 degrees right from the tee with water on the right and out of bounds on the left, and the par three 8th plays to an island green.

World Top 100 Golf Courses
The latest ranking of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World serves as the ultimate global golf bucket list. Most members of our World Top 100 Panel are seasoned golfers, each playing 20-30 of these courses annually while travelling extensively over decades to form their opinions on others. We recognise that opinions vary—even among our panel members. Rankings are subjective, and there are undoubtedly 50 or more courses in the UK and USA alone that could easily fit onto this list.
