Al Houara Golf Club
Situated right on the Atlantic coast, the golf complex at the Hilton Al Houara Resort & Spa is a rather unique offering from the unlikely design partnership of Graham Marsh and Vijay Singh. Playing surfaces are carpeted throughout with salt water-tolerant paspalum grass.
Developed by the Qatari Diar investment company, Al Houra features an 18-hole layout, a 9-hole floodlit compact course, driving range and short game area. The facility was officially opened on 1st September 2022.
The main course extends to a total length of 6,915 metres, with par set at 72. The ultimate aim is to have the course start and finish in front of the clubhouse but, until that building is completed, play begins at what will become the 14th hole, closest to the hotel, beside the beach.
