Al Zorah Golf & Yacht Club

Al Zorah is somewhat off the beaten track in Dubai and it takes some effort to get there, even my Uber driver went to the wrong place initially, definitely not within the port surrounds!

Al Zorah is a breath of fresh air in the UAE golf landscape.

My visit came after the recent completion of the multi-million dollar relocation and build of the new clubhouse at the Troon Golf managed Al Zorah, a now breathtaking centre piece to the property that has completely revolutionised the visitor experience here.

The Nicklaus designed, Al Zorah course offers a fair and friendly experience rather than a tough test of golf that portrays the principles of the United Arab Emirates throughout this wonderful experience.

I think it is the best course near Dubai.

a typical Niclaus course big open fairways gig bunkers water on several holes, the clubhouse might be finished now, as the temporary one was nearly a mile from the first tee , the last holes the best, fast very grainy greens .

Al Zorah is a very nice golf course in super condition.

Personally I think this ranks lower than in the current listing, it’s a beautiful course but with lots of development work taking place around the edges.

I think this is one of the most underrated courses in the country.

Overall review is that it is a good course in good condition at a decent rate vs the pricier, more well known courses.
