Stunning views and a big championship layout

Recently played as part of a mini-golf trip to Mallorca and this was the course I was looking forward to the most.

Much of the design, layout, and views are superb, but Son Gual has eclipsed this course for me.

The best course in Mallorca due to the combination of sea views and the conditions.

Was my first round of golf in Majorca.

As the reflection of the winter sun shimmered amid the waves of Alcudia Bay, I wondered whether there was a more attractive spot in Continental Europe to play golf than at Alcanada.

Great design and some truly lovely holes and ocean views.

Without Doubt the best course in Majorca, oozes quality and you even get some great sea views, though the course never gets really close to the ocean, I Preferred the front 9 which was a bit more interesting , greens were good maybe a bit grainy but true, the par 5,s here are all strong and interesting.

The dreamy views of the Mediterranean from the clubhouse veranda and at many points on the course, could define the experience here at Alcanada, but the golf on offer is much better than just the aesthetic window dressing the backdrop provides.

Played Alcanada in early May and what a lovely day it was.

In 2019, the season-ending tournament on the European Challenge Tour’s “Road to Mallorca” was held at Alcanada and the Grand Final event will be contested here in November, when 20 main tour playing cards will be up for grabs.
