This is a superb resort course, with two distinct 9,s. The front 9 is parkland in feel away from the ocean, but still has some good holes, notably index 1 2nd and the downhill 7th slightly blind. Back 9 is where the fun starts. 10th is a tricky downhill par 3, the 11 is a stunning par 5 down to an infinity green, don't go long here. 12 is the best hole on the course a downhill par 3 at an angle, only 130 yards but difficult to hit with bunkers front and back and one the best views ever. Then 13 is a longish par 5 with the ocean and St Andrews in the distance.

After that it meanders around with the ocean in views on most of the holes, 18 is a bit disappointing uphill shortish par 4.

The quality of the course was excellent with really true greens, however, my one and only complaint was the bunkers. They fell between two stools being neither rustic or pleasant to look at. If you hit anywhere near the bunker, the chances of it landing in the sand are slim, more likely it will dive into the scruffy rough with some crazy lie and more often than not no shot, this is not golf and detracts from the rest of the course.

That said it's not on the radar and I can fully understand why it's in Canada's top 100.
