Arbroath Golf Links

This very nice out and in links stands just 10mins away from Carnoustie Championship Course and tells another story of low profile course who deserve and need more attention.

Its been slow moving this year so far with new courses played due to the very wet weather we've had but the next course in my scottish kidney golf challenge was Arbroath which is a traditional links course that offers a great challenge for golfers of all levels.

Arbroath is a lovely, pure links.

Rugged links course played earlier this year again in a stiff breeze, a really challenging course in tough conditions.

Arbroath is probably the least well-known of all the links courses on Scotland's east coast.

There’s a deceptive quality to the humble yet alluring links course at Arbroath which would not only make an excellent companion when playing at Carnoustie, or en route to Aberdeen from the South, but is well worthy of a play in its own right.

Finally got round to playing this in free time from Carnoustie Tassie week - and once you are past the not overly exciting looking first hole it gets better and better as you go out - a great variety of holes and challenges WELL WORTH A VISIT

One of the more unsung links courses in Scotland, Arbroath is nevertheless a terrific little track that seemingly flies under the radar of many golfers.
