Straight into first position as my favorite course in Hertfordshire, what a beauty. I had been wanting to play Ashridge for some time having heard many good things and when an old colleague who has recently joined invited me I was there in an instance. Its just pure, condition is outstanding and the surrounding area so pretty and peaceful. The layout is great and each hole a joy. The club house is lovely with an elevated balcony that affords viewings across several of the holes and a great place to enjoy a drink after the round and watch the incoming players finish the tricky 18th with its elevated green, suckers so many people in! Any opportunity you get to play this course take it.
