All things considered, Bad Neuenahr is a good all-around test of golf on a beautiful site, perhaps lacking a few percent here or there to really threaten the world class, but certainly very worthwhile.

It's a special course, it's like a day holiday. When you arrive you feel already relaxed, but then you get on the course and you only see trees. In the summertime, they have some issues with watering the whole course, so sometimes maybe only tees, fairways and Greens are "green". In general, you need to try to play more safe than aggressive. Because you will end up in the trees and need to do a transporter. In general, the course could be IMO in a little better shape but they changed the superintendent so let's see the next year.

The latest ranking of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World serves as the ultimate global golf bucket list. Most members of our World Top 100 Panel are seasoned golfers, each playing 20-30 of these courses annually while travelling extensively over decades to form their opinions on others. We recognise that opinions vary—even among our panel members. Rankings are subjective, and there are undoubtedly 50 or more courses in the UK and USA alone that could easily fit onto this list.
