Bemidji Town & Country Club is a semi-private, member-owned 18-hole parkland course situated on the north shore of Lake Bemidji in Bemidji, Minnesota, United States. The club was founded in 1916, making it one of the longer-established golf facilities in the region. The course is bordered by Norway pines and features natural greens set against the backdrop of the lake, giving it a distinctive north-woods character.
The course underwent major revisions in 1990 and further updates in 2014, though no specific architect is credited for these works in available records. The layout takes advantage of its lakeside setting, and the club notes it is accessible by boat via Lake Bemidji. The course is walkable and accommodates golfers of varying skill levels across its 18 holes.
Historically, the club attracted notable attention when Walter Hagen visited in 1925, describing the course as naturally beautiful and well-maintained in a setting difficult to equal. A 1927 Minneapolis Star Tribune account described it as the most beautifully located course in the northwest. In 2016, the club hosted the Minnesota PGA Professional Championship, and it regularly hosts Minnesota Golf Association events, Minnesota State High School League events, and collegiate tournaments.
The club is home to the long-running Birchmont Tournament, an annual amateur match-play event held each July, and the Vandersluis International Golf Tournament, held on Labor Day weekend. Open to the public since the early 1970s, the club recorded nearly 30,000 rounds played in 2021.
