Bethpage (Red)

The same people that tell you that Oak Hill's west course is better than the east, will also tell you that the Red is the best course in Bethpage State Park.

Don't be upset if you can't get the ever so coveted tee time on the Black course because Red is right up there with it.

The red starts and finishes well but smart from the interesting 12 th which has bunkering in the middle of the fairway it’s a slogfest

There are only 3 sets of tees.

Played the Red a few times in 2023 and the layout has been helped by more attention to various key design elements.

Don’t be fooled by the “little brother “ moniker, the Red is a big boy golf course.

Very nice course at an excellent value in great condition given the number of rounds it hosts.

Because the Black course is "The Black Course," few are lucky enough to have experienced Tillinghast's next-door gem called Bethpage Red.
