Big Creek

Big Creek and another four lakes provide plenty of aquatic challenge at Big Creek Golf & Country Club. The course is a Tom Clark design that has garnered plenty of praise since it was unveiled in 2000.

The par four holes range in distance from the relatively short (but heavily bunkered) 325-yard 16th to the tough 491-yard 7th. The four par fives include a couple that might be reachable with two mighty blows but the other two are definitely three-shot holes.

The four par threes all face in different directions and each one offers a different challenge –whether it’s water, sand or just length off the tee. Five sets of tees on every hole allow golfers of all abilities to play the course appropriate to their level of challenge.

The club was due to host state qualifying for the 2020 US Senior Amateur qualifying but the evet was cancelled due to the covid-19 pandemic. In the recent past, it’s also held state qualifying tournaments for the US Amateur (2018) and US Senior Women's Amateur (2016).
