The Kampen course is one of my favorite collegiate courses in the country (although Yale is obviously second to none). The course features Pete Dye dunes and massive bunkers on every hole. It is a fantastic challenge with plenty of width for the high handicapper, yet its an extremely difficult test for tournaments. Each hole features a distinct green complex and angles are important in order to have a chance at birdie. One of the most interesting examples on the course of this is the par 4 seventh. The hole only plays about 350 yards, and features a horseshoe green which is divided by a massive bunker that divides the fairway.
