From the welcome in the pro shop to the end of a wonderful 18 holes this was a first class golfing experience. The course is not a long course nor is it tricked up but then it doesn't need to be. You do not need to bomb it 280 yards with a driver but you do need to think about ball positioning if you are going to be able to attack the greens. Once you have found the right part of the fairway that is by no means the end of the difficulty the greens are wonderfully laid out with tricky slopes to negotiate and understanding all the nuances would be a joy as a member. Finally the course was in immaculate condition and a credit to the grrenkeeping staff. If you are in the Hampshire area do not miss this course out from your itinerary.
