Review for Bude & North Cornwall

Reviewer Score:

A confined seaside course close to the town centre, hemmed in by houses and roads and criss-crossed by public footpaths. Generally in reasonable condition, albeit greens seem to be on slow side. I always prefer holes 1-8, but the par 5 ninth is a real odd one and seems out of place on a links course. Holes 14-17 are very close together up and down holes, with totally blind shots to the 14th and 16th greens; the 16th is a real brute into a wind. Par 3's are the best holes for me, made tougher by the fact that it always seems windy. An enjoyable if somewhat quirky course that for me falls somewhere between a 3 and 4 ball. DB
