Bussy-Guermantes (La Jonchère)
Situated less than a 15-minute drive southwest of Disneyland Paris, the 27-hole facility at Golf de Bussy-Guermantes features La Jonchère as its prime 18-hole layout, with the water-laden final three holes providing an “Amen Corner” sting in the tail.
The course extends to 6,111 metres from the tips, playing to a par of 72, with water coming into play frequently on both nines – especially at the par three 7th and par five 8th on the front nine then on the final three holes which are routed around a man-made lake.
Other highlights on La Jonchère include the tough opening hole (doglegging left and narrowing towards the green), along with another couple of really difficult par fours at #12 and #13 on the back nine (rated stroke index 3 and 1) where water hazards dominate.
