Occupying a compact 120-acre property on the edge of a large woodland area, the tree-lined fairways extend to almost 6,400 yards from the back tees, playing to a par of 72, with holes arranged as two returning nines.
Water comes into play a couple of times on both the outward half and inward half: there are lakes to the right of both the par four 3rd and par four 17th, while par three holes at the 8th and 11th are routed round two sides of the same pond.
Other holes of note include the very narrow, slightly left doglegging par four 5th (rated stroke index 1); the right bending par five 13th (with a couple of bunkers in front of the green); and the par five 18th which also veers right and narrows towards the home green.
