CampoReal
There is a Dolce CampoReal Lisboa resort lies in the Torres Vedras district, around 30 minutes north from the capital. There, residents are able to use two pools, as well as tennis courts as well as an equestrian center and of course, the 18-hole course of golf.
Created in the hands of Martin Ebert when he was still a part of Donald Steel's design firm, CampoReal (which translates as "Royal Meadow") was first open to play on in the year 2005. The course is situated on the 135-acre site, which is distinguished by hills and rolling terrain, as well as steep forested valleys.
A round is played from beginning to end with the hole that is a par 5 (holes 17, 18, and 17 are par fives that go back-to-back) and water is brought into play on the two opening holes, and on the short par four 9th, which is where the tee shot can be snuffed by an edifice. The elevation changes are a frequent event, and require the occasional blind to play.
It hosted the last two tournaments of the Ladies Portugal Open on the Ladies European Tour in 2010 and 2011. Karen Lunn of Australia won the final event by one stroke, and Ashley Simon from South Africa took the crown following year, achieving an aggregate of 200, 16 under par.
