Canterbury is wildly under appreciated under rated. Although the course is only on 150 acres, the routing is so wonderful that you have that peaceful, secluded feel on each and every hole. Add in the fact that it is a parkland course, and a lesser architect on only 150 acres would have made it claustrophobic. But Mr. Strong did not. The routing is some of the best work I have ever seen. The greens are perfect. The fairways are a pure pleasure to strike the ball off of. And the variety of shots is amazing. 340 yard dogleg par 4's and 600 yard par 5's. Great course!!
