I was expecting a great deal when I went to the Twenty ten course and it was amazing. The staff there were the friendliest staff I have met in any golf club I’ve played. A nice locker with my name on it in the locker room the players used for the 2010 Ryder Cup. Because I had the premium package I had a complimentary bacon roll in the cafe before the round. A range session is included with the tee time and it’s right next to the first tee. An amazing photographer takes a photo of me in front of the Ryder Cup signs on the first tee and takes a photo of my swing as well. The course itself is in great condition and it feels special to be walking the same paths as some of the best golfers ever. Halfway house has amazing food and the buggies have their own screen showing you the distance to the hole and they also had their own electronic scorecard. Huge pro shop and a lovely restaurant. It was an unforgettable day and I really enjoyed it and I can’t wait to return because it’s now my favourite course and before I came on this golf holiday my golf game was nowhere near as good as it is now, I find the course has helped me improve even though it’s quite challenging as it’s a championship status golf course. I have played at some of the golf clubs ranked higher in Wales over the twenty ten and I find these courses nothing special and a bit boring as the majority of the holes look very similar and the rankings only high because of coastal views which is nothing special when you live right by the coast. A few people have complained about the buggies being only allowed on paths but they clearly don’t understand if buggies went on the fairways it would ruin the course which I have seen plenty of times on some of my local courses. Also if you complain about the conditions stop being stupid and book a tee time when it’s sunny.

The latest ranking of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World serves as the ultimate global golf bucket list. Most members of our World Top 100 Panel are seasoned golfers, each playing 20-30 of these courses annually while travelling extensively over decades to form their opinions on others. We recognise that opinions vary—even among our panel members. Rankings are subjective, and there are undoubtedly 50 or more courses in the UK and USA alone that could easily fit onto this list.
