Review for Church Stretton

Reviewer Score:

What an experience - we played in an intermittent gale when frequent showers that then became persistent rain, prompting us to leave the wet weather shelter by the 12th green allowing us to see that most greens were flooded, and then driving down the path by the 18 th which was a torrent.

With the cloud-obscured tops it reminded one of embarking on a Munro in bad conditions, is it going to bed worth it ?

Obviously the answer is yes !

So, prepare for weather but also for sensational fun and incredible views - the only comparison I can make for the untamed golf is Durness dropped on top of a mountain.

While we only played a little over half the course its out and back nature meant we saw all the holes and will definitely be back for a replay.
