Cleveland Golf Club is set on the coastline of North East Yorkshire and like Seaton Carew further up the coast, weaves on crisp links turf that is bordered by a deeply contrasting industrial landscape.

The closed steelworks dominates the course which takes a bit of getting used to, similar to seaton Carew but not as good.

the holes run parallel to the ocean but you cant see it , greens were ok but the fairways and tees were scruffy, nice but a notch down from similar courses

The first 5 holes and later in coming holes are a lot more attractive than most of the middle holes which are fairly straight and open with not much character. But the fairways were top notch! Arrived in Redcar for our 4 ball and we’re worried due to the fog coming in from the sea that we may not be able to play. Quick breakie and it cleared up.
