Review for Clovernook

Reviewer Score:

Langford and Moreau's early work before Lawsonia, not as dramatic as the Wisconsin courses but definitely honed their skills in SW Ohio. Slight elevation changes through the property highlight low and high points with a seasonal creek running along the northern tier holes. Volcano greens arent prevelant, but a few signs of what their designs were to come. Stairstepping of bunkers, guarding short par 4s, and split n-s fairways don't require drivers, laying up to proper spots, large old trees on corners of doglegs, require working the ball left to right and right to left. Greens rolling true 3.27.22. Favorite hole- 18. Short par 4 with trees on both sides, bunkers left and the club house only a short distance behind the green
