The Club at Holliday Farms came from the Holliday-Rogers family's connection to both the land and the Dye's. Mary Rogers and Alice Dye, were cousins, as such - it was only a matter of time until Pete and Alice would be involved with the property.
In the 1990s, Pete and Alice Dye began course design work with the Holliday's. The project was later brought to fruition through collaboration with Henke Development, known for The Bridgewater Club and The Club at Chatham Hills in Westfield, Indiana. The course was completed during Pete's final years.
The courses follow the terrain's natural contours, incorporating creeks and woodlands. The 18-hole course weaves through valleys and woods. The layout combines tree-lined holes with open fairways and elevation changes. There is also a 9-hole par-3 course on-site built to the same specs as the big course.
The latest ranking of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World serves as the ultimate global golf bucket list. Most members of our World Top 100 Panel are seasoned golfers, each playing 20-30 of these courses annually while travelling extensively over decades to form their opinions on others. We recognise that opinions vary—even among our panel members. Rankings are subjective, and there are undoubtedly 50 or more courses in the UK and USA alone that could easily fit onto this list.
