Review for Clyne

Reviewer Score:

A very welcoming golf club with good onsite accommodation. The course was generally well presented with greens in good condition. Some good views of Swansea Bay, combined with grazing sheep and horses gave the course a very natural 'traditional' feel, akin to RND except with more elevation change. Quite a variety of holes off the yellow tees (would have been nice to have been off the whites) with both short and long par 4's; par 3's seemed to be predominantly uphill, whilst 9 and 18 were both steeply downhill to the greens. Can't really think of any real standout holes, although the view of the par 5 third off the tee some is excellant. Not as exciting or varied as nearby Pennard but none the less worth a visit
