Wonderful Tom Fazio layout, quite possibly my favourite Fazio so far - and I have probably played about 50.
Marvellous use of this South Carolina land resulting in a course that flows very nicely through natural terrain and vegetation, utilising the splendid Mossy Oaks some replanted some in their original locales.
Good mixture of holes with spacious playing lanes typical of the architect.
The bunkers per Fazio are large and create a nice visual, but these are different from the usual Fazios in that the sharp edges resemble those found on the Melbourne sandbelt.
A very special place, high dollar membership or Ambassadorship, great short game area, top notch service and conditioning was superb, course plays firm and fast.
A true delight to be able to spend the day - If the opportunity arises take it.
Its proximity to Old Barnwell, Tree Farm, Palmetto and now Broomsedge makes it a great place to start your trip
