The golf course first opened for play in 1993 as a 9-hole affair and it’s been upgraded gradually over time since then to become the 18-hole that’s in play today.
Holes are routed around a couple of residential developments so it can feel a bit restrictive at times, particularly at the starting and finishing holes on the back nine, where houses line both sides of relatively narrow fairways.
A round here starts with a short par four at the 1st then a par three at the 2nd (which both touch the shoreline) before holes 3 to 9 weave their way around several sizeable ponds.
The routing takes golfers inland on the back nine, with holes 11-12 then 13-14 set out in parallel (playing in opposite directions), before play returns to the clubhouse via the right doglegging par four 18th.
