Coral Ridge Country Club
Robert Trent Jones Sr designed the original golf course in 1954. His son, Rees Jones, would return 66 years later to restore and reimagine his father's work in 2020.
The story of the golf club is unique. After opening in February of 1955, Robert Trent Jones Sr was so enamoured with his own work that he would return 10 years later to purchase the club and run it as his own.
Easy bogey and hard par is the name of the game, with the usual trappings of runway tees and penal bunkering common on many of RTJ Sr's designs.
In addition to the 18-hole 'championship course', the club also has the Rees 9. The par 3 course from 2015 is a completely different challenge for the members and guests.
