Situated close to the historic towns of Leesburg and Middleburg, within a half an hour drive from Dulles International airport, the 18-hole layout at Creighton Farms nestles within a private gated community where residents enjoy a calm and peaceful setting that’s still within easy reach of the outside world.
The Jack Nicklaus Signature design opened for play in 2007 and it’s since gained a number of golf magazine awards in a variety of categories. Water hazards feature on several holes, thanks mainly to a small creek that winds its way through the property, so the playing strategy here is very much based on precision, not power.
In addition to the course, the club also offers its members the use of a Golf Teaching and Learning Center – with a two-sided practice range and bunkered target greens, along with a dedicated short-game area, and putting green – and a fitness centre.
