Crondon Park Golf Club (Championship)
The first time it was open for play was during the peak of the boom in modern golf in the mid-1990s. The Championship course located at Crondon Park Golf Club is further enhanced by a nine-hole par 3 layout called Willows Edge, which is ideal for novices or those who are looking to improve the short course.
It measures almost 6,800 yards from the Tiger Tees and playing with a 72-par par (37 out, 35 in) The layout is designed with two loops that return each of which ends with an eagle. Water is available in half of all the scoring holes, so be ready to map your route to ensure your ball is dry.
The most notable holes are some of the par 3s' first holes on the 4th, which is 177 yards long (where an edifice is in front of the green) and the longer par five 5th (which is a bit more watery halfway along the fairway) and the left-doglegging par four 8th, which has dangerous out of bounds down from the side to the left of the hole.
Highlights of the inward portion include the right-veering thirteenth par 5 (rated with a stroke index of 2) The final of the holes that are short at 177 yards on the 14th (where an offset green is situated in a pond that is smaller) and 16, a par 4, that includes two cross bunkers near the green.
