Martin Hawtree designed the original 27-hole course at TAT International in the late 1990s. The development changed name to Titanic (while still operating the original three nines called River, Mediterranean and Forest) before morphing into Cullinan Links Golf Club in 2021.
Situated on the most westerly point of the Belek coastline, close to where the Besgoz River empties into the Mediterranean, the development is one of the very few (along with Lykia Links at the other end of the golf strip) to have holes that actually touch the coastline, offering views out across the Mediterranean.
The construction of a new beachfront hotel in 2020 impacted on several old holes so a decision was made to relocate these holes and build another nine holes, fashioning two new 18-hole layouts which were originally to be called the Black and Red but ended up as the Aspendos and Olympos.
All four 9-hole circuits return to the clubhouse, allowing the club to interchange them to keep play flowing smoothly during high season. The new design retains many of the original lakes and other water hazards but improved bunkering and wider paspalum fairways have significantly improved playability.
