Dama De Noche

La Dama de Noche’s 9-hole course lies near Pueto Banus in the shadow of La Concha, the mountain that stands behind the town. Designed by Enrique Canales, it was opened in 1991 and is named after the flowering shrub whose night time fragrance is said to keep mosquitoes at bay.

And mentioning night time, La Dama de Noche’s biggest claim to fame is its floodlight system which allows golfers to play in the evening, after sunset, provided a minimum number have pre-booked – now that’s stretching tee times to the limit!

The tree-lined fairways are laid out on level ground with little rough and moderate bunkering but a couple of lakes affect play on nearly every hole. As the course is situated right beside the busy N-340, traffic noise can be a nuisance but it remains an interesting place to play holiday golf nonetheless.
