I played Dinard at the end of August in what can only be described as drought conditions, fairways totally burned out which sadly didn’t do justice to what is quirky and fun course with much to enjoy.

Even though it is situated by the shore, this is not a pure links. Some very good holes to be noticed : the 1st, real good opening uphill par 4, 11th uphill par 4 with a terrific green, back to back par 3s 12-13, with wonderful sea viewsAnd of course, the 6th hole, one of the best par 4s I've played...

Dinard is a par 68 , not overly long at 5334m.

The course has 5 par 3's and a single par 5. There is now an additional back tee on 10 which is not on the card but turns the uphill 348m par 4 into just over 400m much tougher hole.
