Living up to its name:

The name "Dolina Kardinala" translates to "Valley of the Cardinals" in English, and it's a fitting name for this course. The Jastrebarsko region where the course is located has a long history of being home to important figures in Croatian society, including cardinals, military leaders, politicians, and artists. Dolina Kardinala is a par-71 course that measures 6,600 yards from the back tees. The fairways are laid out in two returning loops, with the front nine routed around the perimeter of the property. The course features a variety of challenging holes, including doglegs, uphill climbs, and strategically placed bunkers. But the most memorable holes are undoubtedly the par-3 8th and 17th, which play to adjacent island greens in the middle of the course.
