Having played this course a handful of times, the conditions range from either unacceptable to average. The greens are slow at best and bumpy/frustrating for the rest of the year. Its greens were quite superb as good as Liphook GC and better than anything else I had encountered hitherto this year,having played on about a dozen ranked UK courses to date. The holes were a good test of golf. The course deserves a much higher Hertfordshire ranking.
