I would critique the blurb for this course a tiny bit when it comes to the final four holes. 15 is a wonderful long par 3, 17 is a good risk/reward par 5 off the tee, and 18 is a mean finisher. 16 isn't a great hole in my opinion since it forces 95% of golfers to lay up off the tee and leave a fairway wood or long iron into a raised green. The course has plans on redesign in a few years' time, and if I'm not mistaken, 16 will be completely redone.
The first 15 holes offer some pretty solid golf. The 1st sets a great tone for the round, and the 3rd is a really good mid-length par 3. Off the gates things are pretty strong, but as the round goes along I found some holes look like repeat versions of a previous hole. 2, 5, and 11 are all dogleg par 4's of similar lengths that run the same direction and come across as redundant. Holes that are one of a kind here are really good and really enjoyable (except 16). If the redesign does take place, it'll be interesting to see what they do differently.
