The following edited paragraph is from the book Golf in India: The ultimate golfing guide by Phil Ryan and Paul Reeves:

“Set in an area of 100 acres alongside Mudasarlova Lake and Eastern Gnats Hills (about 9 kms north of the city) the 18-hole golf course is a par 71 of 5,876 yards (designed by Sripada Rao). The golf course is well treed and on an undulating site with all-grass greens, tees and fairways. Greens are bunkered in the 1920s style often seen in India. There is an impressive Club House with bar/restaurant.”

Heavily-bunkered holes are arranged as returning nines and water comes into play on several occasions, most noticeably at the par three 16th which plays to an island green. Other highlights include the very long par four 6th (rated stroke index 1); the tough par five 14th (severely doglegging right to the green); and the par four closing hole where a central pond separates the 9th and 18th greens.
