Edgewood

Situated to the north of Fargo, on the wooded banks of the Red River, the Edgewood Golf Course has been regarded as the top public golf facility in the area since its inauguration in the mid-1920s. It’s one of five public courses – two 18-hole layouts and three 9-holers – operated by Fargo Park District municipal authority.

A Memorial golf park at the course was dedicated to local judge Rodney Scott Webb in 2019, consisting of two practice areas which allow golfers the opportunity to practice any short game shots they might have to play around the greens at any of the Fargo Park District public golf courses.

The course closes for golf in the winter, but for those who can’t bear to be away from the place, it remains open for cross-country skiing and sledding, with the clubhouse operating as normal for participants of these snow-based pursuits.
