I was a member of El Rincon for 3 years from 2004 until 2007. What a great course this is, very long, but this is down to the altitude you are playing at 8,200". The fairways are quite wide but the is always trouble if you stray too far off the sides. You must also remember that short irns will be 20 - 30 yards longer than at sea level. the facilities within the club house are second to none and you are treated like a king at all times. allow 5 hours for a round as it is normal to stop for a snack after 9 holes. This also allows your caddie to get himself a drink. The caddies themselves are of vairing standards, but if you choose a class 1 then after 10 minutes on the range they will know what your club length is and they know the greens like the back of their hands. I played all of the courses in Bogota whilst I was there, and there are 26 of them, but Rincon is by far the best.
