Review for Elgin

Reviewer Score:

Elgin is a top-notch example of parkland golf. As mentioned elsewhere this is a long track but it is extremely fair and in excellent condition. Amongst many fine holes I would identify the 1st, 3rd, par 3 4th, par 5 5th, and 8th on the front nine. The most memorable hole is the par 4 dogleg 11th where a decision must be made about how much to cut off. Elgin also features a first-class finishing hole (rare in my experience) and this rounds off a course that complements perfectly the many fine links courses in Moray.
