Elie is a great break from an itinerary full of Open rota courses. There are multiple drivable par 4s and despite there being 16 par 4s and 2 par 3s- there is no lack of variety. This is an authentic Scottish course that should be visited by anyone travelling through Fife.

Have played it twice, both in the late afternoon, when there's not too many people out there. Wide open, rolling fairways, with many elevation changes, and endless intrigue. Don't let the scorecard at Elie fool you into thinking 16 Par 4s might feel repetitive—each is unique and presents a variety of shot options and challenges.

Have been lucky enough to play it a few times and it gets better every time as you learn new ways to play certain holes. Always in fantastic condition. Love how it starts in the town makes it way out to the coast from 10 - 13 and then makes its way back into the town. Would highly recommend.
