Elkhorn Ridge
Designed by Patrick Wyss, the course at Elkhorn Ridge Golf Club is laid out within Frawley Ranch, a National Historic Landmark. The front nine is routed along the side of a mountain, with the back nine winding through Polo Creek Canyon and an underpass has been built to link the two circuits that lie on either side of the I-90 highway.
The course was designed by Rapid City-based architect Patrick Wyss, with construction work starting on the first nine in 2007. Two years later, golfers were able to play the full 18-hole layout which now measures 7,200 yards from the back markers, playing to a par of 72.
