The Els Club - Dubai

Extensive earthworks transformed the natural desert terrain into a visually stunning desert links layout, defined by immaculate fairways, bold bunkering, and water features at holes 7 and 15. The striking white-sand bunkers contrasting against lush green fairways create a distinctive aesthetic admired by golfers worldwide. A particularly memorable challenge comes from the “Lion’s Den” holes, a thrilling sequence renowned for testing strategy, precision, and nerve, and which has become a favourite highlight for visitors.

Upon its opening in 2008, Ernie Els shared his vision for the course:

“The Els Club combines the best of all the great clubs that I have played worldwide. The golf challenge is second to none... Whether you are an 18 handicap or a scratch golfer, it will be a great test of golf. This course is something very special.”
