Additional tees allow an 18-hole round to be played, with different par values on four of the holes: the par five 2nd becomes the par four 10th, then the par four-three-four sequence at holes 5 to 7 plays as par five-four-three on holes 14 to 16.
Furthermore, when the adjacent River Avon is in flood, the 5th/14th hole on the regular Red course is replaced with a standby par three hole on the Blue course, allowing golfers to play qualifying competitions on an officially measured layout.
Evesham highlights include the right doglegging par four 3rd (rated stroke index 4); the left veering par five 8th (measuring 545-yards from the back tees); and the short par three 9th which plays to a home green circled by three oval-shaped bunkers.
